Fish the West exists because of people like you. We are a completely self-funded, crowd-supported fly fishing series created by a small team of passionate anglers and filmmakers. There are no big sponsors dictating our stories and no corporate backers pulling the strings. Every cast, every mile traveled, and every episode produced is made possible through the direct support of our viewers and the genuine relationships we build within the angling community.

 

When we first launched Fish the West, we wanted to create something authentic — a series where the story comes first, free from scripted agendas or excessive product placement. That freedom allows us to film where we want, highlight the anglers we believe deserve the spotlight, and tell their stories exactly as they are. To make that vision a reality, we personally funded the entire first season. Now, with your support, we can produce more episodes and keep the show going strong.

 

We use a pay-what-you-think-is-fair model. You can watch every episode for free, and if you feel it’s worth supporting, you can donate any amount that fits your budget. Every contribution directly fuels the production of future episodes — covering travel costs, camera gear, editing, music licensing, and everything else it takes to bring you cinematic, high-quality storytelling.

 

While we are entirely viewer-funded in terms of production, we are proud to have non-monetary partnerships with individuals and brands who believe in our mission. These partners help us put our stories in front of the right audience and extend the reach of our work without influencing the way those stories are told.
